Festival of Heavenly Stars

Postscript

Many thanks to all who contributed - organisers, helpers, star-makers and visitors. More than 500 people came in over the weekend - not including those who came for the United Carol Service at the close of the exhibition on the Sunday. The exhibits were beautiful and the atmosphere was lovely! I managed (just about) to limit my purchasing of beautiful pre-loved decorations and also bravely limited my intake of the scrumptious cakes on sale.

With the raffle and refreshments, silent auction of stars and donations, we raised just over £2,250 for the All Saints' Development Project. Well done everyone!

Here are some photos...

Update 12th December

All Saints' is rapidly filling up with stars and Christmas Fare. The team are busy organising  the displays - it's looking really good!

What Are We Doing?

Following the success of the Festival of Angels which launched the All Saints' Development Fund, we are hosting a similar event over the weekend of 14th -15th December. We are inviting individuals and groups in the community to make a star to exhibit over the weekend, which coincides with the United Carol Service on Sunday at 4.00pm.

If you would like to make a star, please email allsaintsdg@gmail.com for an entry form. Details to be submitted by Friday 22nd December.

Entry to the Festival of Stars is free, but donations to the All Saints' Development Fund will be very welcome.
We will be selling refreshments, pre-loved Christmas decorations and some star decorations for you to take home.

You are warmly invited to stay for the Carol Service which will be hosted by the Methodist church in our building. Please note that the collection taken during the service will be for charity, NOT for the Development Fund.
